On this day in... 2017

Catherine Wheel

On this day in 2017, DJ Jessica spotlighted the music from 1992 on The Book Club's iconic miniseries The Yearbook. This episode was most notable for one of the show's most popular discoveries and one of DJ Jessica's personal favorite discoveries from the show, Catherine Wheel's "Black Metallic". Other highlights from the episode include the discoveries of "Into The Fire" by Sarah McLachlan and M4B favorite "Touch The Hand" by Bryan Adams, the epic roasts of token bad songs "Push Th' Little Daisies" by Ween and shocking Cashbox #1 "The Letter" by Wayne Newton, and DJ Jessica calling out MTV's hypocrisy for banning the music video for the show's closing song, "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam, while having no problem airing "unfathomable amounts of T&A."
